FuseboxWiki: The Fusebox Framework Documentation Project
FuseboxWiki is an online documentation project created for the ColdFusion Fusebox Framework development community. Originally established in 2007, it has now been revived and revitalized to serve the needs of the ColdFusion Fusebox community.
Origin Story (2007)
In 2007, I took the initiative to create this website with the sole purpose of curating comprehensive documentation for the ColdFusion Fusebox Framework Community. Recognizing the valuable resources were slowly disappearing and the overall scattered nature such as blog posts, email lists, and PowerPoint slides across the internet, I embarked on the mission of consolidating and presenting this information in a user-friendly format. My aim was to alleviate the challenges faced by newcomers seeking to navigate and comprehend the intricacies of Fusebox, offering them a centralized hub of valuable resources.
Present Day (2023)
In the present day (2023), as I still actively participate in various ColdFusion groups, I couldn't help but notice the growing number of individuals seeking guidance and encountering difficulties with Fusebox Framework code, even in basic configurations. This observation sparked a motivation within me to breathe new life into this website!
The FuseboxWiki project consists of documentation, presentations, blog entries, code sources online, and user contributions. FuseboxWiki does not hold any claim to the material presented.
Current Day Disclaimer :(
This site may contain links to resources that are no longer accessible online. I have done my best to revive the site for historical purposes in hopes that the wealth of information contained within can provide assistance to those working on ColdFusion Fusebox Applications today.
Its also worth noting: I converted the original Fusebox 5 / Reactor / ColdSpring / MVC site to a very simplistic 'serverless' flat html file site that I have automated to publish to Amazon S3 Bucket via Lucee. Free. No Hosting. You're welcome.
Although I generally do not accept contract work, as a passionate capitalist, I would be delighted to contribute my expertise and assist you and your company in working on any legacy ColdFusion Fusebox applications. Please feel free to reach out to me via LinkedIn or Twitter for further discussions.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. Enjoy the information within...
