Deprecated
As the framework evolves, some ways of doing things are no longer considered best practice as better ways take their place. You will hear the term "deprecated" quite often in these discussions. Deprecated means "still supported but not recommended" and often implies that the feature in question will be removed at some future date (usually a distant future date, to allow people to migrate their code away from the deprecated features).
In addition, Fusebox 5 performs some additional validation of XML verbs and attributes since it deprecates any undocumented attributes appearing in the XML file that are not declared using an XML namespace.
It is possible (and likely) that a future release of Fusebox will change the default of strictMode to true or will simply make the deprecated features illegal.
